walsgrave hospital restaurant
The Main restaurant project at Walsgrave was a full refurbishment of the trade area with minor works to the existing servery replacing old equipment with new. Part of the brief from the client was to develop a new grab and go area for customers who did not want hot food. The original layout impeded customer flow and created confusion over queuing.
The new design consisted of partition walls to define new seating areas and the new grab and go area, new counters to the grab and go area, new catering equipment including hotplate display units, retail display multidecks, internal decoration with feature wall graphics, 2 different types of floor finish, furniture and a full signage package all fitted out to the new colour Food design.
The new modern design created more of a high street feel to the restaurant with an improved dining experience. The full signage package for this project included durable floor graphics, directional signage and brand queue control barriers to aid with customer flow.
